What is Moshiach Consciousness?
Moshiach Consciousness is a global message for all humanity – inspiring all of us to embrace what is sacred within ourselves, others and the world.
MoCo is an awareness of:
- The ONEness of All Existence
- The Divinity of All Existence
- Existence being Created every fraction of a moment
- The unity of spiritual and physical
- The entire world being Holy
- This being our last incarnation
- The redemption in our lives
- The world being already redeemed
- The Lubavitcher Rebbe being the Messiah
- Us all being mini-messiahs redeeming and co-creating reality
- The Global Utopia can be triggered by anyone moving towards goodness, even you/me!
Mission Statement
The Lubavitcher Rebbe has tasked all those who heed his call with doing all we can, using the extraordinary lights of chaos albeit in vessels of repair, to bring Moshiach and redemption to the world.
This task is epic; it can be seen as the most grand, courageous and noble challenge that man has ever encountered. Yet our success is a foregone conclusion as we are like “a midget on the shoulders of giants” and the good of all generations past is our springboard.
Each of us is personally responsible for, and capable of, bringing about the radical and peaceful transformation of the world on a global scale.
The Campaign For Moshiach Consciousness is our final task.
We need to communicate the message of Moshiach Consciousness throughout the world, not just to the Jewish People, but to all of Humanity.
We want to raise awareness of Moshiach Consciousness and create a cultural shift towards making MoCo central to Judaism and the world’s movements.
We will endeavour to find partners who believe that the dissemination of the body of information contained within Moshiach consciousness, as the Rebbe taught, is the key to bringing utopia to the world.
The vision
Moshiach Consciousness is a global message for all humanity – inspiring all of us to embrace what is sacred within ourselves, others and the world. Oneness – GodWorld – Universal Love – Peace – Abundance and Goodness.
We want to live in a world without war, without want, without jealously, hunger or famine, a world of mutual cooperation love and respect between people who stand in awareness of their Oneness in this divine world.
We believe that by harnessing the power of global media to promote redemption theology, we can help to create a cultural change that will propel this change.
This is based on the Rebbe’s teaching that becoming Moshiach conscious is the remaining catalyst in creating a world of true peace.
The history
For over 40 years the Lubavitcher Rebbe worked tirelessly to create a worldwide movement that would spread both Judaism and his unique teachings and message.
His plan, as the culminating force built upon the work of his predecessors, was to ultimately transform the world, to bring about peace on earth by bringing Jews and non-Jews closer to the Torah and fulfilling their divine potential.
The Rebbe gave us 10 mitzvah campaigns the 11th campaign was the Campaign For Moshiach Consciousness.
Although the 11th campaign led by the Rebbe was beginning to gather some momentum in the early 1990′s, tragically, the Rebbe’s final campaign was publicly put on the backburner.
This was in part due to years of political infighting, and the violent polarisation on the issue of whether or not to publicly identify the Rebbe as the long awaited historical Messiah, and ultimately due to his passing on Gimmel Tammuz 1994.
Since then, the wider world has missed the Rebbe’s unique voice and contribution to the conscious evolution of our planet, and in that vacuum, many utopian and spiritual voices and movements have sprung up. But the Rebbe’s voice and vision for our world has been decidedly absent.
The Campaign For Moshiach Consciousness aims to address this imbalance and put the Rebbe’s voice and message back on the stage of history where it duly belongs. So that among the other voices of hope and change the Rebbe’s presence can inspire all of humanity to live in peace, dignity and unity. So that we may all see experience, and be apart of the global realization, that this world is, the ultimate dwelling place of the Divine.
Our approach
1. To positively focus on what the Rebbe wants from us as individuals. To articulate what he wants us to do and who we are to be in order to manifest the Era of Moshiach in reality.
2. We believe that the Era of Moshiach has in some sense already started, and our goal is to focus on attuning our awareness and those around us to this new reality.
3. Through education about Moshiach consciousness one begins to experience Moshiach Consciousness, which brings about the hastening of the Ultimate Redemption. We aim to use all appropriate education tools toward this end.
4. Moshiach Consciousness is a message for all Humanity asking us to embrace all that is sacred within ourselves, others and the world.
5. Unearthing the wider diversity of topics within Geula and Moshiach and delivering high quality elucidation
6. We want provide channels that will empower people to begin to live with Moshiach Consciousness.
7. Create a welcoming message, which will encourage those who believe in this vision to join the effort as partners in raising Moshiach consciousness.
The Rebbe’s directives for the Campaign
Message: Moshiach has come all we have to do is accept Moshiach. (Both the person and the Era).
Theology: The only difference between Exile and Redemption is the realisation of the divine Oneness of all existence.
Action: To begin to live with Moshiach in a state of peace and joy.
Propaganda: Learn, publicise and disseminate the mystical teachings that deal with Moshiach to the world in a way that is easy to understand and accept.
