The Teachings of Moshiach

“The Torah (Bible etc) that a person studies in this world is MEANINGLESS [Hevel] compared to the Torah (Teachings) of Moshiach” – Koheles Rabbah 11:8

This simply means that it is not at all comparable to the type of learning that will be available through the Messiah.

Implicitly we can compare the study of Torah in the time of Exile to the education of a child.

The child is taught so that, when they grow up they will have the basic tools to be able to understand properly.

Similarly the Torah as it is understood now is merely a preparation, a form of childlike education, in contrast to the learning of Torah that will take place in the future… i.e. the Teachings of Moshiach.
